The Firearms application packet can be accessed by clicking on "FORMS" at the top of this page, scrolling down to "Firearms Forms," and clicking on "Firearms Forms & Completion Instructions." All forms in the Firearms Packet are interactive and can be completed right on your computer, printed out, and then signed. It is recommended that all firearms paperwork is completed in this manner as it reduces delays caused by illegible handwriting.
Effective 2/5/18, Completed Firearms applications can be dropped Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.. Please review your application before dropping it off, as incomplete applications will not be processed and will result in delays. All forms should be signed.
Also, if you receive a call that your Firearms ID card or Permits to Purchase are ready, you will be able to pick them up only on the days and hours listed above.
Filing fees are as follows:
Pistol permit: $2/per permit
Firearms ID card (initial): $5 (Duplicate Firearms ID & change of address are free)
Check or exact change is required. Fees for your permit(s)/ID card are paid when you come to pick up your paperwork. Do not attach fees to your application paperwork when you drop it off.
