5/24/2013, Shoplifting, PO Chris Fabian-  A CVS assistant manager found several empty packages of assorted merchandise on the floor of the store.  A review of the in-store video cameras observed two 15 year old Jefferson Twp. females taking items from the shelves and placing it in their bags.  The girls were detained and later turned over to their parents. Juvenile charges are pending.

 

5/25/2013, Theft/Burglary, PO Matt Cannarozzi-  A resident of Ridgedale Avenue reported that unknown actor(s) entered her unlocked house and stole $1390 in assorted jewelry and $160 in cash. Incident under investigation. 

 

5/27/2013, DWI, PO Dave Wojtach- Officer Wojtach responded to Route 15 North for a report of a disabled motorist. Upon his arrival the driver exited his vehicle and it was later determined that the driver was possibly intoxicated. Walter Wolf age 46 of Emerson was placed under arrest and charged with DWI. He was released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

5/28/2013, Motor Vehicle Accident, DWI, PO Dave Wojtach- Officer Wojtach responded to Berkshire Valley Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Theresa Ferguson age 53 of Jefferson Twp. attempted to turn right into a shopping center on Berkshire Valley Road driving into the opposing lane of traffic and striking another vehicle head on. It was determined that she was possibly intoxicated and was placed under arrest. She was issued summonses for DWI and careless driving and was later released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

6/2/2013, DWI, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, PO Rodger Davis- Nicole Debonis age 24 of Flanders was arrested for DWI after travelling north on south bound lane of Route 15.  She was also in possession of 14 folds of suspected heroin. She was charged with DWI and possession of a controlled dangerous substance and later released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

6/4/2013, Lewdness, PO Eric Sudak-  Edward Bonacore age 55 of Jefferson Twp. was reported sitting on his front porch allegedly without any clothing and in plain view while sun bathing. Mr. Bonacore was placed under arrest and was charged with lewdness. He was later released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

6/9/2013, Burglary, Theft, PO Matt Cannarozzi- A resident of Lavina Trail reported that unknown actor(s) entered his unlocked residence and removed $635.00 in cash and a watch. Incident under investigation.

 

6/11/2013, Burglary, Theft to Motor Vehicle, PO Matt Cannarozzi- A resident of Reservoir Road reported that unknown actor(s) removed a portable DVD player from an unlocked vehicle.        

 

6/15/2013, DWI, PO Chris Quidort-  Lorraine Privitera age 61 of Jefferson Twp. allegedly drove over three neighbors lawn?s in an attempt to make it too her driveway. Patrol responded and found the driver allegedly highly intoxicated. She was placed under arrest and charged with DWI and refusal to submit to a breath test. She was later released pending a Municipal Court appearance.

 

6/19/2013  Rumors of a bomb threat at White Rock School, Det. Joseph Kratzel- During a field day at White Rock School, rumors started circulating among the students of a bomb threat for that Friday.  According to reports the threat was posted on Instagram.  A comprehensive search was conducted by Facebook, owner of Instagram.  No postings threatening a bomb or other mass destruction device or plan was uncovered.  Det. Kratzel conducted several interviews and it was determined that no actual threats were made. 

 

6/20/2013,Theft, Cpl. Bryan Christie- Owner of Falcon Auto parts reported approx. 45 battery cores stolen.

 

6/21/2013, Motor Vehicle Accident/DWI, PO Dave Wojtach- Officer Wojtach responded to the intersection of Longwood Lake & Berkshire Valley Road for a report of a motorcycle accident. Ralph Vitale age 37 of Jefferson Twp. was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital for his injuries. He was later charged with DWI and numerous other motor vehicle summonses.

 

6/21/2013, Burglary/Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Det. Joseph Kratzel- A resident of Notch Road reported unknown actor(s) entered her unlocked car while it was parked at SNAP fitness and removed a wallet.

 

6/21/2013, Warrant Arrest, PO Sean Krater- Joseph Vernieri age 21 of Jefferson Twp. was arrested on Jefferson Twp. Municipal Court warrant and was transported to the Morris Correctional Facility.

 

6/23/2013, Criminal Mischief, PO Sean Krater- Officer Krater responded to Dover- Milton Road for a report of an unknown actor(s) entering a residence on Dover- Milton Road and spray painting graffiti throughout the residence. Incident under investigation.

 

6/23/2013, Warrant Arrest-PO Dave Wroblewski- Daniel Foyt age 22 of Jefferson Twp. was arrested on Jefferson Twp. Municipal Court warrant. He was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility.

 

6/23/2013, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, PO Dave Wojtach- Bruce Coston age 32 of Jefferson Twp. and a 22 year old Jefferson Twp. female were discovered squatting in a u-store-it on Edison Road.  Mr. Coston was allegedly in possession of Xanax. A 22 year old female found was hyperventilating and requested transport to St. Clare?s Hospital. Mr. Coston arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was turned over to Roxbury Police on an  outstanding $1542.00 warrant.
